Troops releases 1,623 Boko Haram hostages


Troops of 3 Battalion, 22 Brigade Nigerian Army on Operation LAFIYA DOLE, assisted by ten civilian JTF, have rescued a total of 1,623 persons held captive by members of the Boko Haram terrorists group in Borno state.

According to a statement released last night by the Director, Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Sani Usman, the successful rescue operation was based on information received
